How does it work?

Join us for an engaging evening of language exchange where you'll be paired with native speakers for a series of 10-minute conversations throughout each two-hour session. By attending just two times a week for two hours, you'll connect with an incredible variety of native speakers and enhance your language skills.

While mastering Spanish takes time and dedication, engaging in Spanglish is such a delightful experience that you won’t mind the journey! Our event kicks off with a 30-minute check-in where you’ll meet fellow Spanglish enthusiasts—many of whom are newcomers! After some ice-breaking activities, you'll move to your assigned table for your first one-on-one conversation. Don’t stress about mistakes; everyone is here to learn together! Spend 5 minutes conversing in English, then switch to Spanish, before rotating to a new partner. By the second round, you’ll be having so much fun that you’ll forget you’re even learning!

What do we discuss at Spanglish?
The conversation topics are entirely up to you! From favorite superheroes to the best local eateries, it’s a relaxed atmosphere where you can practice a new language while discussing what you love!

Our community includes study abroad students, international scholars, local Argentine students, and anyone eager to practice their conversation skills in a welcoming, cost-effective environment.

Simply head to the bar during the check-in period, and our Spanglish staff will assist you with registration!

► What to Expect?
Engage in a series of 10-minute conversations with native speakers in a two-hour session. Attend only two times a week for two hours, and you’ll meet an impressive number of native speakers. While there’s no quick route to Spanish fluency, the fun you’ll have at Spanglish will make you forget about the effort involved! The event begins with a 40-minute check-in where you can mingle with new participants—half of whom are typically attending for the first time! After some ice-breaking, you’ll be assigned a table for your first conversation. No worries about making mistakes—the person across from you is there to learn too! Converse for 5 minutes in English, then 5 minutes in Spanish, before moving on to a new partner. By the second round, the fun will have you forgetting you’re learning!
