Join us for an engaging evening where you'll be matched with native speakers for dynamic 10-minute conversations throughout our two-hour sessions. By attending just twice a week for two hours each time, you'll have the chance to connect and practice with a diverse array of native speakers!

While there's no quick path to mastering Spanish, the fun atmosphere of Spanglish makes it an enjoyable journey! The evening kicks off with a 30-minute check-in, where you’ll mingle with fellow Spanglish enthusiasts—about half of our attendees are newcomers! After some ice-breaking, you’ll be guided to a designated table for your initial one-on-one chat. Mistakes are part of the learning process; your conversation partner is equally eager to learn! Each session features a 5-minute discussion in English followed by 5 minutes in Spanish, after which you’ll rotate to a new partner. By the second round, we guarantee you’ll be so immersed in the experience that you’ll forget you’re learning!

What Topics Will We Discuss at Spanglish?
The choice is yours! There are no fixed subjects; feel free to chat about anything from your favorite movies to local eateries. It’s a relaxed environment where you can practice your language skills while discussing things you love!

Who Comes to Spanglish?
Our participants include study abroad students, international learners, local Argentine students improving their English, and anyone seeking a friendly, affordable, and flexible space to enhance their conversational abilities.

Simply head to the bar during check-in time, and our friendly Spanglish staff will assist you with registration!

►HOW DOES IT WORK?

You’ll be paired with native speakers for exciting 10-minute chats during our two-hour sessions. Attend just two times a week for 2 hours each time to meet and practice with a wide range of native speakers.
Remember, there’s no quick fix for fluency, but the fun of Spanglish will keep you coming back! The event starts with a 40-minute check-in where you can meet other Spanglishers—many of whom will be joining us for the first time! After some initial ice-breaking, you’ll be seated at your first conversation table. No pressure to be perfect—your partner is there to learn too! Engage for 5 minutes in English, then switch to Spanish for another 5 before rotating to another partner. We promise that by the second round, you’ll be having such a great time that you’ll forget you’re actually learning!
