Join us every week as over 150 attendees from more than 23 countries gather for a vibrant language exchange! It's an excellent opportunity to practice languages and forge new friendships over a drink. 🍻
At New To Melbourne, we pride ourselves on our welcoming community. You’ll find our members to be friendly and eager to help newcomers. Bring a friend along and dive into some engaging language practice! Our language exchange is completely FREE and takes place every Wednesday evening. Arrive by 6 PM for affordable food and beverages, perfect for dinner! 🍻🍟

Upon arrival, you’ll receive a badge indicating your native language and the languages you wish to learn. Wear it proudly, with your native language on the right and your target languages on the left. Then, mingle and exchange languages!
What to Bring: A pen, paper, and your positive energy!
Age Requirement: 18+

===== FREE BEER AND PIZZA FOR VOLUNTEERS! =====
We’re seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help us welcome newcomers. In return, you’ll enjoy complimentary drinks and food (like pizza wedges) along with the camaraderie of other friendly volunteers. If it’s your first time, feel free to apply—many of our volunteers are new faces as well!
