Join us weekly as over 150 participants from more than 23 countries gather for an engaging language exchange, where you can practice new languages and forge friendships over drinks! 🍻
As you step into New To Melbourne, you'll immediately feel the welcoming community vibe; our members are friendly, helpful, and always eager to greet newcomers. Feel free to bring a friend and dive into some language practice with us! Our weekly sessions are free and take place every Wednesday evening. Arrive at 6 PM for delicious food and drinks at great prices! 🍻🍟

Upon arrival, you'll receive a badge indicating your native language and the languages you wish to learn. Attach this badge to your chest, with your native language on the right and the languages you're learning on the left. Then, mingle and exchange languages!
What to bring: A pen, paper, and your positive energy!

===== FREE PIZZA AND BEER FOR VOLUNTEERS! =====
We're seeking friendly volunteers to help welcome newcomers to our group. In return, we offer free drinks and food (like pizza wedges) along with a fun team of fellow volunteers to hang out with. If this is your first event, feel free to apply—many of our volunteers are also first-timers!
