When you attend a New To Melbourne event, you’ll immediately feel the welcoming atmosphere. Our members are friendly, supportive, and eager to make newcomers feel at home. Upon arrival, you’ll receive a name badge indicating your native language and the languages you wish to learn. Wear it with your native language on the right and the target languages on the left. Then dive into conversations and start exchanging languages!
What to bring: A pen, paper, and positive energy!

===== VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: FREE BEER AND PIZZA! =====
We’re seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help welcome newcomers to our group. In return, we offer free drinks and food (like pizza wedges) along with a friendly team of volunteers to collaborate with. If it’s your first time joining us, feel free to apply—many of our volunteers are newcomers too!
