Join us every Thursday at Zorba's Cafe! We gather on the second floor, but when the weather permits, we enjoy the fresh air outside at a table on the street. If you arrive and don’t see anyone on the second floor, just check the outdoor seating area.

Dear members! For those who haven't attended our meetups before, please note that fewer people usually RSVP than actually show up. Our regulars are accustomed to dropping by without signing up, so feel free to join us any time between 5:30 PM and 8 PM!

Welcome back to our beloved venue! We've been meeting at Zorba's Cafe for years, and it's time to reunite on the second floor.

Location: 1612 20th St NW, Washington, DC 20009

Conveniently located near the Dupont Circle Metro station, this is the same spot where we gathered every Thursday evening before 2015.

Everyone is welcome, but please keep the conversation in Russian. For many of us, this is a unique opportunity to practice our language skills. Enjoy happy hour specials while you chat!

Timing: Some attendees typically arrive by 5:30 PM, though the organizers may not arrive until around 5:45 PM. If you’re the first to arrive, don’t worry—just wait for us! People usually stick around until at least 8 PM, so arriving late is absolutely fine.

RSVP: While I encourage you to RSVP, keep in mind that many attendees may not. It might look like only a few people are coming, but rest assured that we often have a lively group! Newcomers are always welcome, so if it’s your first time, you’ll likely find others joining us as well.

On pleasant days, we often opt for the outdoor seating. If you don’t see anyone on the second floor, just look for a group speaking Russian at the tables outside.

To reiterate, we’ve had only a handful of RSVPs in the past, and still ended up with over 15 attendees. So, there's no need to worry about numbers.
